Dayboro Day Festival, together with Dayboro Antique & Collectables Fair
The main street in Dayboro – ‘The Town of Yesteryear’ – comes alive every year on the last Sunday in May for the Dayboro Day Festival, incorporating the Antique & Collectables Fair at the Dayboro Memorial Showgrounds.

The Dayboro District Progress Association Inc has been planning, organising and sponsoring this day for 29 years now.
The festival just gets bigger and better each year. Being first held in 1991, this festival now attracts over 20,000 visitors to our beautiful country town each year.
Free Shuttle Bus travels between the Antique & Collectables Fair at the Showgrounds and the Festival which is held in the main street of Dayboro.

Official Opening & Awards Ceremonies
On this day we also present our Dayboro Community Awards for:
- ‘Resident of the Year’,
- ‘Young Achiever’ and
- ‘Business Recognition’
This is a great honour for the recipients as they are chosen from a great bunch of hard working people. We invite our Mayor, our local Councillor, our State Member, and our Federal Member to present the Dayboro Community Awards, which remain a secret right up to their presentation on the day.

The Official Opening and these presentations take part on the Roderick Cruice Park stage (near the pool) at 11am.
Dayboro Antique & Collectables Fair
Since commencing in 2007 the fair has proven to be a great success offering leading dealers. It promises to be an exciting time full of surprises for the avid Collector or the first timer. There will be a multitude of fine English, European, Continental and, of course, our own Australian Wares. There will be something to suit every taste.
Cost for entry to Antique & Collectables Fair:
- Adults is $8.00
- Children under 16 free (must be accompanied by a responsible adult).
Monies raised from the Dayboro Day Festival and Antique & Collectables Fair are returned to the community as decided by DDPAI.
When
The Grand Street Parade commences around 10.00 am.
Stalls should be open by 8:30am for business.

How
FREE PARKING is available at the Dayboro Memorial Showgrounds and a FREE SHUTTLE BUS service operates throughout the day, ferrying passengers between the Showgrounds and the township – Although, if you prefer, it is but a leisurely stroll through parklands right into the bustling activity at the Festival.
The main street, Williams Street, and also Heathwood Street and part of McKenzie Street, are closed to all traffic from 8.30am to 3.30pm.
