Unfortunately, the DDPAI has been unable to recruit adequate volunteer organisers to be able to run Dayboro Day in 2025/2026. As a result, a Dayboro Community of Events Working Group has been established to assess ideas for any future events for 2026 and beyond. The group previously provided online surveys for members of the community and local business to complete. As a result of the survey outcomes the following areas are proposed to be established for 2026.
Dayboro Heritage Trail – Town of Yesteryear Event.
Discussed at length that this will be an event to build upon and to start small and ensure it celebrates all thing Dayboro and incorporates the township and business. The purpose of this event is Showcase Dayboro. Discussions included to ensure we work with the local historians of the township and work with other community groups to ascertain interest in helping and being part of the event.
The event will be on the 1st March 2026 from 7am to 1pm. See flyer attached.
This will not be an all-day event as it is not to replicate Dayboro Day. The town will NOT be closed to traffic for this event.
